[Resolved] Change the Mystery Portal Rotation, Please!

@EA_Shepard Completely off topic from messages above(though I 100% agree with it), in the garden warfare 2 beta, could you promote characters? And also was there only one type of character allowed per class despite their multiple test characters for each class? Which also means that the max rank for beta would have been 273 correct

Hi @EA_Shepard  hope all is well! As you can see, this tread has dried up, everyone is sick of desperately asking, or begging for something, but we, the players are sick of being completely ignored, I’m just wondering if anything at all has been talked about? Are people still begging for updates to Battle For Neighborville and Garden Warfare 2 on social media sites? My friends, family and online friends just want the Unicorn Stuffy for Chomper and Judge Z outfit on Nintendo Switch, even if we have to purchase it, these games are so much better than call of duty, and deserve so much more respect! It’s always so much fun! 2300 hours and I still love BfN like the day I bought it on March 19-2021

I'm actually disappointed that ea won't be doing anything to gw2 anytime soon but I also would love to get an update about the game aswell

@ZorbaKing64 I understand that. I do, and it isn't that the game or players are being ignored. This issue has been discussed and has been answered more than once on more than one thread. As of now, no updates are or will be made to the game in order to make these changes. The original studio that was there working on it is no longer and resources are working on other projects and no longer the GW or BFN series.

It has been discussed at length with myself, other CMs, and different devs on multiple teams. The bottom line of this inquiry is that at this time it won't get updated. Will that happen in the future? More than likely, no. That could change but the direction the series is going, there are no active plans to make updates to the series.

@EA_Shepard can you tell us why pvz 1,  gw2, bfn, and other popcap franchise like peggle  released on epic games but ea didn't say anything about it?

@EA_Shepard  I just saw this in game on Nintendo Switch, how on earth is this possible? I also saved videos but here’s several screenshots below. You may recall, this player also had the Unicorn Stuffy hat for Chomper and another one which I don’t know the name of, but I know it was for Super Brainz.

i have returned!! im not on the @DeathBugg account bc i cant access it due to how yahoo is. i heard long ago that we arent getting our modes back. this made me very sad. i haven't read what has happened in my absence yet. please ea, return our modes because we cant access them without pc mods (which i think anti cheat ruined?)

i mean who knows, pvz might do what fortnite did. Fortnite was doing terribly during the last resort season and even way before it then they brought the og season and got i think 100 million players?

The entire series could do something like this (mainly gw2) and bring back town hall. Even if once a year it had boss hunts and other modes up id be happy. please ea, it would actually make you more money to do this. It seems simple, it might not be, but id pay for the code to be reimplemented in the game. #bringbacktownhall

@okiu03 I cannot no because those decisions are not made by CMs and unless there is a public message pushed out to players, we cannot provide "official" messaging without approval. That has not happened, so sadly it isn't an answer we can provide.

Id love to believe me, but I honestly don't know why. That decision was way above us on the forums.

@ZorbaKing64 We have to be really careful with these. If someone else jumped into these it may look like we are calling out folks and the post get removed. I have asked on this again. Most everyone is so busy on other things, it is, thanks for bringing this up we will take a look! But it has been passed along. I wish we could take care of these but these are hard to deal with even on the backend. We cannot really just go in and remove it, or modify it in any way.

It still saddens me that a game as great as GW2 is in such a state. In the game's heyday, we had the progress-o-meter that would pop up while I was at work, and I'd monitor how we were doing on my phone till I could get home and pitch in, we had dev streams, we had some new free DLC to look forward to, boos hunts, soil survivors, capture the taco, and so much more. I was never a huge fan of just restricting characters and giving us super speed as an event in the portal, not with so many other fun options that are just more interesting and enjoyable. 

At the minimum, newer folks or those that missed the times of boss hunts and community event hat rewards should be able to get those, but a lot of people want the achievements and want to actual play the boss hunts and more interesting events too, and it really should be possible.

Hi @EA_Shepard when I loaded into PvZ: BfN on Nintendo Switch just now, I went to choose my region and saw this, the Australian and North America West servers are not here, any reason this has happened? I hope they’ll be back soon. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you @EA_Shepard coz I’m in Australia, and it being hard to find many people playing here, I always join the US West coast region, and always find full lobbies, but recently noticed I wasn’t getting any games on said servers/region, then I saw that pic I showed you, I hope the game online function and multiplayer isn’t gonna be shut down for good! 😭 only other thing I thought was server maintenance. Maybe a Unicorn Stuffy hat for us Switch players when and if it gets rectified lol 🙏🏼😁🙏🏼😁

Hi @EA_Shepard  have you been able to find out what’s going on with servers? Specifically Australia and US West Coast. I’ve also seen it’s the same for Xbox so I’m assuming it’s happening on all platforms, with a 230-240 ping playing on US East Coast servers, there’s only so much lag and “how on earth did that count as a hit?”  I can take lol.

@ZorbaKing64 Ive asked but its been pretty silent. The issue with the Asia servers was resolved but when it comes to things like high ping, it isn't considered higher priority. Since there is no longer a team working on it regularly, I have to have quite a few players who post on a thread reporting all of this to us. At the moment no one has said word on it.

If a lot more players start having the issue, we have to have a separate thread dedicated to that like a bug report. I then send it up, and we wait but at this point it is all waiting with this series since there's no longer a dedicated team for it.

Oh are you saying there was something wrong with the Asia servers? The issue I’m wondering about is where are the servers for the Australia and US West Coast? You know when you go to the portal and choose a region? Australia and US West Coast are no longer there @EA_Shepard 

about the ping, I know why it lags, it’s because I’m in Australia and always joined the US West Coast region servers because I’m not gonna find a full match in Aus, as much as it sucks to get hit by literally everything, I still find BfN one the best games I’ve ever played, 2240 hours and counting on Switch.
P.S. I still so badly want the Unicorn Stuffy hat for Switch players!!! 😁

@Deathbug4567  Hey bud, I would of course love it if all players on all platforms could get it by doing challenges or something, but I mention Switch players specifically because players on all other platforms got it as a gift when the game was released if you logged in during a certain timeframe, Nintendo Switch players never got this chance, that’s why I’ve been asking to add it.

@PVZ_T0X1CBRAINS  Sorry bud, I didn’t see this til now, just went thru messages and saw it.

It’s definitely one of the rarest, it’s actually unobtainable now, it was a gift for players who logged in to BfN during a certain time period when the game was first released on to all platforms except Nintendo Switch because the game was released on Switch several years later, so we never got the chance to get it, my main is Nintendo Switch, and with lobbies being full all the time, we’d see this hat everywhere, all other platforms got the chance, why can’t Switch players be given a timeframe aswell?!?! We also missed out on the Judge Z outfit coz we were not told of the game pre-order bonus, I would’ve downloaded it if I knew.

I got Max rank on my alt a year ago but I pre ordered it on my main and when I logged in for the first time in years to see what your were talking about I spawned in as a chomper with a miniature unicorn chomper on my head
