Hello again! Let's break this down 🙂🎉
"I had to login again and I had to make a new password as it would no longer take my password."
When we clear our cookies and cache, any saved login information stored in the browser is removed. This means we’ll need to log in again on every website. If you rely on saved passwords, it’s important to write them down as well. While saving passwords on our devices is convenient, the safest practice is to fully log out of websites when we’re done (not just close the tab).
Why You Should Clear Your Cookies and Cache
- Over time, our browser stores a lot of temporary data aka cookies, cached images, and site files. While these help pages load faster, they can also create problems when they pile up. Clearing them offers several benefits:
- Better privacy and security: Removing cookies clears tracking data and old login sessions, reducing how much websites and advertisers can follow your activity.
- Fixes website issues: Outdated cached files often cause pages to load incorrectly or break entirely. Clearing them forces your browser to load fresh content.
- Improves speed: A bloated cache slows down browsing. Resetting it helps your browser run more efficiently.
- More storage space: Temporary files can take up a surprising amount of room, especially on mobile devices.
- Up‑to‑date content: You’ll see the newest version of websites instead of outdated cached pages.
- Doing this regularly keeps your browser running smoothly and protects your privacy.
"PS what is the difference between Microsoft Edge and Windows edge. I went to download it and it's the same download for me???"
There’s no difference, they’re the same thing.
Microsoft is the company that makes Windows, and Edge is simply the web browser that comes preinstalled on Windows devices. It’s all the same product, just called Microsoft Edge.
✔️ Microsoft Edge = The Browser
✔️ Windows = The operating system
"And like I said previously does not make sense it would count my mahjong tiles just fine and I won the badge. Make it make sense please."
Pogo is a browser‑based gaming site, which means you don’t have to download the games — everything runs directly through our browser. However, not all Pogo games are built the same way. Some come from different developers, and each game stores its own data in our browser to keep track of things like progress, settings, and login information.
This is why we often hear the advice to “clear your cookies and cache” it resets the stored data and helps fix issues when a game isn’t behaving correctly.
Checking for browser and device updates is also important. Most browsers update every 2–4 weeks, and if we don’t keep up with those updates, it can affect how games load and play. Outdated devices may not support the latest game features, which can lead to glitches, slow performance, or games not loading at all.
"I still after probably another 100 tries cannot get the 5 spins. I guess it was a lot of nothing."
I was able to accomplish mine using Niles Purramid, have you tried this slot game or the other to finish the last 5 spins?
Also, updates can come in at any time on our devices (even if you just check this morning). Can you take a moment to click on the 3 dots in the right-hand corner of your screen, a drop down will appear - click on Help and Feedback, then select About Microsoft Edge, this is the quickest and easiest way to check for browser updates. It will tell you if it needs updating or not 🙂
Hello, ok well i don't understand. I followed all of the instructions and deleted all cookies and cache and everything else it said to do in troubleshoot. I powered off the computer and restarted it. I had to login again and I had to make a new password as it would no longer take my password. I completed all troubleshooting asked me to do. I still after probably another 100 tries cannot get the 5 spins. I guess it was a lot of nothing. Thank you. PS what is the difference between Microsoft Edge and Windows edge. I went to download it and it's the same download for me??? Congratulations on your BADGE!!!!! And like I said previously does not make sense it would count my mahjong tiles just fine and I won the badge. Make it make sense please.
Sorry to hear you are still having an issue. Would you mind explaining " I deleted everything" and did you perform all the Pogo Troubleshooting steps in the guide?
Currently I am using Microsoft Edge, and I was able to complete the weekly badge.

hello, thank you for getting back to me! I deleted everything and powered off and still it will not give me my last five spins. It has to be the game as when I play mahjong sanctuary badge it keeps track of how many tiles I have cleared. I have probably spun over 200 times trying to get those last 5 spins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aniy other suggestions before the badge is up would be appreciated.

Hello! Sorry to hear the last 5 spins are not counting towards the badge. The weekly badge of "Make a spin 300 times this week!" is a lot of spins! You’ve clearly put in a lot of effort, and I understand the significance of each spin. I can help with potential causes and provide guidance on how to prevent it in the future.
#1 Reason Badge Progress Suddenly Stops Counting: Bloated Cookies & Cache on our devices.
What is bloated or corrupt cookies and cache?! Over time, our browser stores a ton of temporary data. Think of it like those old multi‑layer carbon‑copy receipts — the white copy, yellow copy, pink copy, and sometimes even a blue one. Each layer is basically a duplicate of the same information, stacked on top of each other. When it gets overloaded or corrupted: progress stops syncing, registering even though you made them, the game may load old data instead of your current actions and more!
Please take a moment to log out of Pogo and Clear Your Browsers Cache and Cookies, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies helps create a clean path for new data to load, which often resolves this kind of issue.
For a complete troubleshooting guide, please take a moment to view the Pogo Troubleshooting Guide, it's an excellent resource for addressing common problems anytime we see something not quite right.
Kindly review the troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue, I’m confident you’ll be able to complete the badge. You’ve got this 🙂🎉
