Hello! Sorry you are having issues playing Pogo Daily Sudoku for weeks now, that is not fun and yes annoying. Thank you for adding your device information, this helps very much. What is happening is actually a good thing and bad thing - your device is protecting you.
What your Mac is Doing and Why
On a Mac, the issue usually comes from Safari’s built‑in security protections or macOS blocking older or unstable web scripts.
Mac has very strict security rules for websites that run interactive scripts (like Pogo games). When Pogo updates a game, especially during or after a badge challenge — your browser may still be holding onto old game files (previous playing cache). MacOS sees the mismatch and treats it as something potentially unsafe, because something changed.
Steps to Help
Log out of Pogo completely - This forces the site to refresh your session and drop any stuck game data. Just closing the window doesn’t actually stop Safari — it keeps running in the background. To quit it completely:
Clear the browser cache - This removes the old Sudoku files that your Mac is blocking.
Safari
- Safari menu → Settings
- Go to Privacy
- Click Manage Website Data
- Search for pogo
- Remove it
- Close Safari and reopen
Chrome
- Chrome menu → Settings
- Privacy and Security
- Clear browsing data
- Select Cached images and files
- Clear
- Restart Chrome
