Constant blinking/flashing in Capital City

I spoke too soon, it's back worse than ever 😞

Ok this has been going on over a month now.

We are at the point now where 'Help' is asking if I have another device to try the game on.

Yeah and yes the same thing is happening even with a clean install.

Why do the developers deflect blame from their mistakes?

The evidence from this user is telling them there is a new issue and that I am not the only one experiencing it but yet they still want me to get the expected result on a different device?

This has the potential to cause me some big problems.

Still happening, poor show EA

Please respond to it with even just a 'Me Too'

For me it is more than just an annoying bug, it could cause an epileptic seizure! 

I know I am not the only one with the same bug in their city but getting them to sign up and post about it here is like getting blood from a stone!. Reporting bugs via in-game help should be sufficient but apparently not so.

5 times now I have been advised to post about it on Anwers HQ

5 times I've told them that did, over a month ago.

1. Video Recording: If you could capture a short video showing the flashing lights issue, it would really help us get a visual on what you're seeing.
2. Different Device Check: Can you let us know if this issue happens on a different device as well? This will help us figure out if the problem is specific to your current device or something broader.
3. Device Information: What make and model phone are you using?
4. Issue Onset: When did this start happening?
5. Game Update: Have you updated the game with the latest patch?
6. Troubleshooting: Please share what troubleshooting steps you've already tried.

Video, an mp4 is not a valid extension :-( would I be able to send in a DM?

It happens on 2 devices

One running Android 8 something which is an experimental city I set up to prove some issues previously were unique to Android 14

In-game help have sent kudos before for my efforts 😆 

Now then my steps so far.

Lowered video refresh rate, raised it as well - no difference.

Played around with various video settings available to me as standard, with no difference so, back to defaults.

Deleted game cache.

Checked everything that is updateable is up to date, including the game's app

Checked that storage space and RAM and video RAM are adequate - they are way better than the required recommendations

Uninstalled Game

Restarted device

Reinstalled game 

Got my city back up and running, with the same issue.

Threatened it with a rubber mallet - no difference  🤣 

My device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 9 running on Android 14 along with Samsung's One UI 6.1 and  the latest Google Play System updated as of July 2024

This issue has been happening now for at least 2 months on 2 different devices.

In-Game help have a couple of videos and a whole heap of steps I have taken myself to troubleshoot this and they in turn so far have not been able to recreate the problem so right now I am stumped too.

I hate being stumped 🤣
