Soulless

This game is to the first 3 Skate games, what Greta Van Fleet is to Led Zeppelin.  The skeleton is there, but there’s no meat, there’s no soul, there’s no culture.  This feels like it wasn’t made by real people, but instead you put the first 3 Skate games into a computor and then told it “make this as bland, cookie-cutter, and SAFE as possible”.  Skate and Skate 2 were so laser focused on paying genuine respect to skate culture, that this new game feels like i’m riding around an episode of Teletubbies.  Not even addressing the game breaking bugs, glitches, the abhorrent visual style, the lack of decent customization options….  All you had to do was make a faithful Skate successor.  “Oh but it’s not a sequel tho!” Ok then don’t call it “Skate.” Use your brains, i waited 15 years for this, and this sucks at the moment.  Big time.
