when I contacted ea help about my inadvertent chromium purchase (due to the new location) yesterday they said they could only grant me 175 crystals. Not that big of a deal it’s just that the post said 350 crystals. the ea agent then told me to post this information on the forum

Hi folks, we only decided on the 350 crystals last night so if you put in a ticket yesterday, you wouldn't not have received the full amount. Please reopen your ticket and explain the issue. As for the question of categories: "Missing Content" is the topic and select "Had content and lost it"

Hey... I am one of the guys who accidentally bought the 350 crystal chromium pack. I’m grateful for the refund and I realize there’s many who made the same mistake.Even if I had not made the mistake and others got a refund I would still be happy for them. There’s nothing wrong with being happy for others when they get a break. I’d rather be happy for others than complain. Just like those who can sim GW now with 50 wins instead of 150. Good for you guys. Summing then each day is so nice.

Getting 350 crystals without having made the mistake in the first place but claiming you did is definitely both lying and cheating.

A few thoughts.

First, when you opened the store after the update the big red dot on your free bronzium should be enough. If you don't pay attention that's on you. It was nice of them to refund it but I personally don't think they should reward lack of paying attention.

2nd, great qol update. Having it easy to get to is great and even if I had accidentally bought a chromium, which I didn't, it would be worth 350 crystals to have this update.

3rd, it's 350 crystals. That is insignificant. If you accidentally spent that then you should just move on and be more careful. If you didn't and others are getting a free chromium for being careless, I know it's annoying they are rewarding carelessness but still insignificant so either way move on.

I was one of the people that acccidently bought a chromium pack. Yeah i know i wasn't paying attention but thought it was nice they are refunding them. It took all of a minute to log a support call on the ea website. Then less than 24 hours later i got the refund. Not sure why people are complaining about how hard it was to get this done. By the way my chromium pull was 10 ns acolyte shards.

Well we have a very different understanding of the situation.

What is your understanding of "it didn't happen to me but I tried to get a free chromium from support anyway and they ended up giving me 350 crystals"?

From what i got Nauros wrote to support to ask for a chromium because « those who bought one by mistake got a refund so it’s only fair i get one too », expecting to not receive anything but got 350 crystals. The sentence « clearly and accurately describing the situation » makes it hard for me to see it any other way.

I dont think the reimbursement will be gauged on anything other than if you purchased in the stated timeframe, so you will likely get the same as everyone else and the bonus from the nice agent who helped you.
