Before it takes a turn. Sometimes after Exec takes a turn, but sometimes before. Problem is just because I go second doesn't mean I need to open with heal instead of aoe. RNG determines turn order, and determines if my RC gets Mark, and determines if a Marked RC cleanses itself. - Persimius4 years agoSeasoned Ace

How about that. Just happened. My RC didn’t get a turn.
Here is what it looked like when my Exec got a turn. I could have healed, but still could have lost. - Keydash14 years agoNew Ace

I actually find I win more consistently with the open you described than if I go first. Heal RC. Call RC to assist, marking their XB (my XB is faster than my RC). Attack their XB again with my RC calling my XB. If their XB went before mine, then either their XB is dead now or I finish it off with Ebon Hawk basics. If my XB went first, it could get dicey if my XB didn't double tap, but there's still a good chance to win it. - Persimius4 years agoSeasoned Ace

I don’t understand - are you saying when you go second, you don’t use the heal move on RC?
I am saying that I don't always heal when I go second, yes. I have found that the win rate is the same whether I heal or aoe."Keydash1;c-2349066" wrote:

Never really tried going after XB though, so maybe I'll try that for a bit. - Persimius4 years agoSeasoned Ace

Right. I’m glad you clarified, as until you did I thought you were claiming your RC got killed before you took any turn, which struck me as impossible.
I always heal RC if I go second and my win rate is easily 90%. I don’t really think you can blame RNG for this when you are using an inferior strategy.
I wonder if @Ravens1113 uses the same strategy as you, and if he too means he loses his RC before the RC takes a turn?
Last of all - what did you mean by “RNG determines if a marked RC cleanses itself?” If you are - as I suspect - trying to apply breach with RC on a ship with Tenacity up, you can hardly blame RNG for that.
How is it an inferior strategy if I still lose the match at about the same rate when I do it your way?
And no, I don't mean I was trying to apply breach to a ship with Tenacity Up. It's a resistable debuff coming from RC. Sometimes it's resisted and then RC doesn't cleanse himself. This invariably leads to RC dying quickly. "striker_Jakkuzas;c-2349059" wrote:

At least on the last bit, if Tenacity Up’s still up and RC’s not cleansed then you’d have to have used Exec’s basic. I think it just means that RC’s breach can be resisted normally (and thus no cleanse and thus still marked RC)."DarjeloSalas;c-2349080" wrote:

Do you win 90% of the time when you go second and don’t cleanse : heal? I won’t believe you if you tell me that you do.
You can’t tell me your strategy isn’t inferior when you leave one of the most pivotal ships in the lineup in the state it is in that screenshot and DON’T cleanse and heal it.
I’m not trying to poke fun - I genuinely want to help people who claim that Exec mirrors are RNG laden coin tosses. If you use the right strategy you can minimise the RNG basically down to how often your XB decides not to double tap or which ships your EH gives bonus TM to with its basic. Having your RC marked and wounded but then opting not to heal isn’t bad RNG - it’s bad strategy.
i've had the enemy executor and RC nuke my HT before I even got a turn. Or even better, not target RC at all and destroy Xanadu Blood again before I have a turn. I can run the same battle 3x with the same strategy and push the same buttons and win 1 out of 3. and the next day vs the exact same players' fleets, win 3 out of 3 all on first attempt. That is exactly why this meta is RNG determined. It's not down to how good I am at pushing buttons. Or how strong my fleet is. The ppl who go "lol it's not that heavily RNG determined you all just aren't as good at it" must be the luckiest players I've ever seen.
But regardless, the whole point of this thread (which is being completely derailed) is that 6 fleets minimum in kyber is ridiculous. especially for k5 and k4. K1 sure why not make the 9 mil and 10 mil gp accounts do it. But don't subject 4 mil gp accounts to 6 fleets when they probably only have 3-4 of them. That's just mean.
