Imbalanced gear requirements (not the usual complaint)?
I have been excited about the Veers rework so started looking into fully gearing up an imperial trooper team. After checking the gear requirements on swgoh.gg it seems this is not really an option for FTP players because of the requirement for so many stun cuffs salvage. I looked into a few other 'weak' characters that might be fun to gear up and they have the same problem.
So my question is - why do very weak or non-meta characters require such difficult gear to complete?
I can understand a tough gear grind for the 'meta' characters but why is it harder to gear up the 'weaker' non-meta characters we might create some fun teams with?
To illustrate, some examples of 'weak' or non-meta characters needing more than 200 cuffs (all from swgoh.gg):
Snowtrooper - 400 cuffs (300 before g11)
Greedo - 350 cuffs (300 before g11)
Magmatrooper - 250 cuffs (all before g11)
Plo Koon - 250 cuffs (150 before g11)
Magnaguard - 200 cuffs (all before g11)
Cad Bane - 200 cuffs (all before g11)
Night Sister Initiate - 200 cuffs (150 before g11)
Not forgetting the Jawas that many people already geared up for the AAT raid.
