Jabba is over a year since release by now, so a LSB during the May 4th celebrations isn't out of the question. Also, Christmas tends to be more likely to be when revenue will take a dip, since players will be spending their money elsewhere, i.e. presents for family and friends. Revenue picks back up around January/February, when the team releases "sale bundles" to pad the end-of-fiscal-year report numbers a bit - no shade guys, everyone does it. Plus there's less incentive to spend around Christmas/New Years because CG generally run assault battles and basically give away resources for free in inbox gifts then.
Packs are...well, I'll be generous and say mostly reasonably priced. A few feel a bit gouge-y, but CG did try to get worse with the new Imp Remnants around GL Ahsoka's release, and the backlash was bad enough that they haven't tried it again, although it'll be interesting to see what happens when the next GL releases.
Also, it's beyond daft to say EA are desperate for cash. Multi-billion dollar conglomerate is desperate for cash, right. Firstly, the game is managed by Capital Games, who retain control of pricing and bundles, not EA. It's CG who set the prices, and while sure, they may set them according to recommendations from EA, who are the parent company, final decisions rest on CG's shoulders as far as I know. Pretty sure EA don't have a big red button to veto CG's pricing decisions unless they're outlandishly dumb, i.e. "get everything in the game maxed out for $0!", or "get 1 shard of an off-meta character for $10 billion!".
Secondly, the revenue from SWGoH is like a drop in the oceans of Kamino to EA. EA Sports alone probably earns like 10-20 times per year what CG have in their entire time running this game. Maybe that's a tiny bit of hyperbole.
Of course, I'm not agreeing with your point of view, so I suppose I'm just one more "loyal ea clone".
