How do I contact EA's tech support?

If you go to https://help.ea.com/, then click on contact us on the right side of the page it will take you to the options to reach someone. Email takes about 24hrs response time, chat is open 24hrs daily, but if you want to actually talk to someone that's different. Customer service hours are Mon. - Fri., 8am - 10pm EST. Thanks! However, that was what I did initially. It makes me answer questions about my game, platform, etc., and then it gives me the option of coming here or doing live chat. It doesn't have an email or phone option. Any other ideas?

Oh, and actually I can't do live chat anyway, because there are no advisors online.

I chose US multiple times and the only option I ever receive is Live Chat.  No email option, no call me option, and that is with Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.

I really don't know what triggers what to show up when. The whole site is a mystery.

Maybe they did away with email/phone for certain problem types. What category did you choose ? Did you try a different one ?

I tried several options for what the problem was intially and still kept getting only Live Chat.  Changing other options such as the game and platform type if available does give other options, but nothing I tried ever game me the option for email which is what I want.

I really don't know. 

I hope one of the community manager here sees this cause I think they are the only ones that can answer this for us.

With Live Chat as the only option for many of the issues people want to contact support about, the recent security problems with Java make contacting even Live Chat impossible.  Neither IE nor Firefox will start the javascript applet, so with Live Chat being the ONLY official support option I can't get any assistance with a problem.
