Issue with Missing Late Night Expansion Pack in The Sims 3 Launcher

I am writing to report an issue I am facing with The Sims 3 on the EA app. Specifically, the Late Night expansion pack is not showing up in the Sims 3 Launcher, despite being listed as "already installed" in the Add-On Manager.

Here are the steps I’ve taken to resolve the problem:

  1. Reinstalled the game and all expansion packs, including Late Night, but the missing DLC still does not appear in the launcher.
  2. Reset my EA account password, thinking it might be an account-related issue, but the problem persists.
  3. Cleared the cache from the EA app and ran the game as an administrator.
  4. I had no issues with the Late Night expansion pack back in 2020 when I used to play The Sims 3. However, after uninstalling everything and deciding to play again, this issue has arisen.

I’ve checked the Add-On Manager, and it shows the Late Night expansion pack as installed, but it does not appear in the Sims 3 Launcher, and I cannot access the content in-game.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I would appreciate any troubleshooting steps or guidance to help get the Late Night expansion pack back into my game.

      Hello, 

      I’m following up on my previous conversation regarding the issue with the Late Night expansion pack not appearing in the Sims 3 Launcher.

      During my chat with EA support, I was told that my account was “blocked,” but I was still able to play The Sims 3 and access other parts of my account, including a pre-order for the latest Sims 4 expansion. This doesn’t seem to align with the account being blocked, and I’m confused about why this would be the case, especially since everything else is working fine.

      Additionally, the agent mentioned that my account was created on October 2012, but my account was actually created around 2016–2017, and I’ve been using it without any issues until recently. The agent also suggested I reset the password for an old email that looks similar to my sister's, which doesn’t make sense, as I’ve always used my own email for this account. When I provided my full email address, the agent didn’t confirm if it was correct.

      I also wanted to clarify that while all my other Sims 3 content (including other expansions and custom content) is working fine, the Late Night expansion pack is the only one not showing up in the launcher or in-game, despite being listed as installed in the Add-On Manager.

      Given this situation, I’m unsure if the issue is related to my account or if the Late Night serial key is no longer valid. Could you please check my account’s purchase history and verify that the Late Night expansion is properly linked to my account? It would also be helpful if you could clarify whether my account is indeed blocked or if there’s a different issue causing this problem.
