wicktoria20 I've merged your post with the master thread for the launcher crashing when viewing the Downloads tab. I understand that wasn't your original issue, but it is now, so you won't be able to reinstall your custom content through the launcher. There's a workaround for Store stuff earlier in the thread.
You may be able to restore some of your previously-installed content though. The files in DCCache that end in .ebc are bundled Store content, and the .dbc files are custom content. Try adding them one at a time, starting with dcdb0 and counting upwards, until the launcher stops working at all. (The Downloads tab won't ever work, but you should be able to press Play.) Remove the last file you tested and keep the others, and you should be fine.
For Store stuff, be sure to add back your old ccmerged.package from DCBackup as well. The other files in DCBackup are redundant, but ccmerged is necessary for premium Store content to work.

Any idea on how long it usually takes for them to figure out issues like this? I understand sims 3 isn't really the main concern for Maxis.
