Game launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3, maybe someone has ideas how to fix this problem. I play in Mac. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I bought a new world - Roaring Heights Gold Edition but I can't download it in my game when launcher crashes.
i am pretty new to this thread but is there any hope for ea to fix this? i’m so tired of trying to do so myself
It would be awesome if EA had a warning in their app about this issue for players before they purchase.
Launch the game, then access the menu from main screen
I've bought several worlds during this summer sale. It's so frustrating because I can't install them now. Once I click the 'downloads' tab, the launcher crashes and EA app pops up.

To those who also have this problem, there is a way to install them: clicking the downloads tab inside the game main menu :
Then u can install your content here:
Once u click the 'install now', the launcher will pop up, but still-- don't click the 'downloads' tab and also 'installed content' tab of the launcher, because then it will still crash. Just wait for a few seconds and when u switch back to the game, the status will change to 'installed'. So u can continue with the next one.
This is just a temporary solution. Hopefully it is helpful. I still hope this issue can be solved as soon as possible.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you here.
This issue was reported up to The Sims 3 team for investigation in May, who determined that these issues were ultimately caused by changes Apple made starting with macOS Sequoia 15.4.1.
We've engaged with the relevant teams at Apple to investigate further but have no updates beyond that at this time.
In the meantime, some players are finding success with the workaround missfelicityk shared here.

title is pretty straightforward. This has only been happening recently, but every time I open my launcher and click downloads, my launcher crashes. this sucks cause I just bought a world bundle and I have to download the worlds into my game but I cant becasue the launcher is continuously crashing. Can anyone help with this? I feel like I've done almost everything.
I have been reading thread and i’ve tried everything and the same issue is appearing any other updates or ways to fix this.
