Sylviavioletbaby What do you mean that it doesn't show the Sims 3 logo? If you're talking about the file type, the important thing is not any logo but what extension it has. As I said before, a file that ends in .package is treated like a mod, and a file that ends in .Sims3Pack would be installed through the launcher, which you can't do right now.
If you don't know what kind of file something is, and somehow Finder isn't showing it, you can right-click the file and select Get Info. You can see the file type, as in the extension, under Name & Extension.
If you need to use a different browser for some reason, try Firefox.
okay bet. so its fine, i think what its doing is it wont let me download anything like custom content or anything from the store that goes into my downloads folder. otherwise it says error. but i dont know how to fix it. or how to fix the fact that there is something in the folder right now thats not letting me pop up the downloads or installed content folder onto the game launcher.
