Common wardrobe between household members (controlled sims only)
Borrowing punctually clothes (between daughter/mother, siblings or romantic partners)
Passing on to younger siblings (a teen boy giving his childhood clothes to his young brother who is a child)
Ability to sell clothes or donate to charity
Ability to gift clothes to somebody
Ability to purchase clothes for other household members (toddler, infant, pets)

Gameplay only for the players, NPC townies and the game wouldn't be allowed to use this system in order to avoid chaos.

I like that. I often edit my Sims outfits in CAS to look more like a real wardrobe. For example, instead of different shoes for every outfit, they might have only 2 or 3 pairs of shoes. And their hot weather outfits might double as their everyday outfits (they live in Oasis Springs). And their party outfit and their dressy outfit might be the same except for a few accessories.
