💡 Ideas > THINGS we want to see in The Sims 4 !!!

Some cats and dogs do eat raw meat and fish, maybe we could have that too? I also say yes to group meals for pets and maybe we could feed some of the sim dishes to the pets too. 

There is the option to volunteer in game, maybe they could just add more volunteer related activities and gameplay that sims can do. As it's not a career in the true sense, it could just be a bunch of activities they could do, some rabbit hole, some active tasks, whenever they feel like. Donate plasma, money, supplies, etc. or rise funds by busking, cookie sales, participate in donation drives, etc. Maybe if they do it constantly they could earn some perks like fame points, or they could bring back the good will ambassador trait, or they could get a certificate or award or just a nice picture for some of the activities done. For donating plasma they could get a cookie like they do in real life. 

I would like the option cook family or group servings of pet food instead one plate at a time for multiple pets in a household.

I would also like the option to feed pets fresh prepped ingredients like meat, fish and vegetables along with canned prepped foods like Mushroom Conserve, Meat Substitute, Lettuce and Pumpkin Conserve.

Parents in this game are already overly protective to the point of not getting the job done.

Have a baby and play for a week and you will notice this.

The team needs to tone down parents doing useless actions that don't cater to the child like picking them up and putting them down right away.

When the child clearly just wants their sippy drink because of hunger the parent usually will obey if the demand comes from the child. Clicking on the parent to do their rightful duties proves to be chaotic.  

If you click on the child to ask the parents for help, then you will get a faster response. 

I don't want the team to add more to toddlers at this 10 year point in the game.

I do want the team to add to parenting as they fix bugs.

yes to protective parents, we definitely need them

more parents starts to be protective or atleast where i live so maybe they can be protective in bad situations

OVERLY PROTECTIVE PARENTS!

I would love for them to add protective parent gameplay. For example, if their child had a break up, parents would have ill will towards the ex partner. Also go back to sims 2 where jealousy was more prominent when cheating.

SINGER/BAND GAME PACK

It would be amazing if we got a game pack focusing on a singing career where you can become a solo singer or join/form a band. Add more instruments such as drums, base guitar, saxophone, trumpet, etc. The career would allow you to perform on stage, do studio recordings and have band practice! 🙏

👨‍⚕️ Volunteer active "career"

An active career without salary, the sims could spend their life to help other sims.

For example it could be inspired by the Firefighter career in TS3 EP02 Ambitions. Disasters could happen and Volunteers would be required and could :

• Give plasma to hospital
• Collect generous donations (food, sleeping bags, tents, warm clothes if cold winter)
• Build a camp / furnish stadium : After a tornado or earthquake , people will need a temporary shelter 
• Prepare and serve food
• Give sleeping bags
• Help children to find their parents in the crowd
• Make sure everybody is fine
• Listen to people (help other Sims relieve their negative emotions)
• Talk to elders, entertain children
• Call a volunteer doctor if somebody is sick

Depending on the weather/seasons people needs could be different, cold weather means warm drinks and campfire but hot weather means cold drink and fan.

The players could set how long the missions should be (From 1 day to 1 week) to fit to rotational play.

Skin details/wrinkles, hair, mustache, beard, eyebrows, ... elder sims could look older.
