💡 Ideas > THINGS we want to see in The Sims 4 !!!

I would love to see firefighters! I think this would make a great career choice. 
I’m pretty sure they were in one of the previous sims games (I don’t remember which one) and should be brought back. 
Music groups would also be a great addition like boy bands and stuff. 

The Firefighter career came with Sims 3 Ambitions!

Sims 3 Has an active firefighter career with an active fire station lot that your sim can play, gain skills that are related to work and go to work.

I agree!  I would like this in sims 4.

An OCD pack…I hate not being able to have matchy matchy stuff. Like why do you give me a matching sink and toilet but not shower, or a matching fridge and oven but not dishwasher. Luckily the home chef hustle does provide a matching appliance suite but now every house I build has the same set because I want things to be matchy matchy. This goes for bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living bf rooms. Also floors and stair patterns- I hate that they don’t match! 

I would love to see a live in nanny. I use a butler now to kind of accomplish this but a nanny would be better. 

More money for new households - inflations folks, 20K for a family just isn’t enough. 

the ability to custom set quality of items (and what we set influences the cost) - I know this is a coding nightmare. 

more aligned timing of activities … a sim doesn’t need 30 minutes to use the bathroom or 4 hours of yoga

a yoga /wellness career. 

Functional curtains. Like all the curtains to be able to be opened closed, or even have a chance to malfunction and break. Would be cool if it was compatible with packs like parenthood and cats and dogs, so children, toddles, infants and cats and dogs could mess with the curtains.

Animated curtains is a fresh idea that would be fun in the game especially for builders and storytellers. 

Would love to see this added to the game.

A update on Dine Out. More interactive play when you own a business. Let owners wait tables, and help cooks out when it gets busy. Let workes have breaks, make schedules for when everyone works, give vacation time and even let them call out if they have the lazy trait. They should also be able to make tips and the Owner should be able to reimburse them for it. But honestly EA should fix the main bugs for Dine Out before doing a refresh. 

I am probably the only person who wants this, but seniors, I don't like the transition of young adult -> Adult -> elder, I feel like there should be a senior lifestage inbetween Adult and Elder. mostly cause childhood goes from newborn->infant->toddler->child->teen I feel like one more in the adult catergory to round it out would be nice and I want some grandparents who aren't days from kicking the bucket. 

🥊 Competitive Careers

For example a Boxer career, training Fitness skill wouldn't be enough to get promoted. The sims would have to win a fight in order to earn a promotion (For example becoming local champion).

A system similar to exams in University to validate the work done. Or a kind of level mini-boss.

Career lvl 10 aka "World Champion" wouldn't be a dead end because other sims would come to fight and get this title.

And it's nice to punch a bag but it would make more sense to me if my sims could challenge friends and teammates (coworkers).
