I personally feel Sims afflictions are already are enough to manage—even with a toggle option—having new/more personal maintenance to prevent or care for skin conditions seems like a bit much
I can understand the hesitancy toward managing a new type of affliction, such as skin conditions, after the Fairy Aliments system was turned up to 11 on release. As long as players can toggle skin conditions on and off in the settings then it would make it more manageable and give power to the player. If skin conditions were to be a motivator to use crafted products, it might appeal to players who didn't install the Fairies pack and provide more RL gameplay. The occurrence of skin conditions might work best like how illness displays and only affects your played Sims in Get To Work, appearing mostly as negative moodlets, with the occasional visuals (acne / redness) or animations (itching).
I wouldn't want Skin Conditions to appear on Townies to "cure". I imagined the products crafted as simple objects to interact with, to gift, display or to sell, only for the current active household.

Question: How did you get the grid into the body of your post? I would love to do that for some of mine.
You can Insert Table on new posts, but this option isn't available for reply posts.
