Big, BIG problem with the BIG update PLEASE HELP!

Ok, trying to calm down to put this as succinctly as possible here:

I went to update the game.  It told me it needed more space then I had available.  BUT?  It was also acting like I was RE-downloading the whole game (And all the expansion, game, stuff packs and kits that I have too) all over again?  

I have gotten rid of EVERYTHING I possibly can from my computer now.  There's like two programs I don't want to uninstall unless I absolutely HAVE TO.  You know?  But it's STILL saying it needs more disk space required.  Less now then initially, but yeah, still needs more.

Sooo, I was like, well...Guess I'll have to uninstall the Sims4 and reinstall it with only SOME of the additional content I have for it.  It's boogersnots, but I have to do it I guess.  (I don't have any CC or mods or anything like that if anyone was wondering if that might be part of the problem).

BUT!?!  It WON'T LET ME uninstall my Sims4 game now!?!  Only option seems to restart the update.  Which I've tried several times and like I said, it still needs more disk space.

I don't know what to do here.  PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!?!
