[BY DESIGN] Socks don't show with skinny jeans

Hi! My account name is BluFireworks, and I have a character wearing some skintight jeans and socks, but the sock don't show on the character. The socks appear as soon as I remove the jeans. I have also tried other skin tight jeans and found out it didn't work on the other three except the simmer-made one. When I ended up noticing it, it was November 2nd at 5:00 p.m. I am pretty sure it happened before then but I didn't notice it because I had this in for 3 months beforehand. I'm using a Windows 11 laptop, but I don't think the device I'm using is why it's bugged. I've tried removing the shoes before but it still stayed the same, so I know it's not the shoes it's the pants. On the picked file I circled the three pants that aren't working and the one that is has a check mark. Please let me know if this is a feature or not for skin tight pants, because it just seems really weird and out of place to me. 

It's absurd to say this is "by design" when 1. The simmer made skinny jeans that were added to the base game work just fine and 2. With Snowy Escape we can disallow shoes indoors so now we're all more likely to want to have socks showing on some outfits.

The City Living trousers with the flowers all over them/ombre effect found under the skin tight category cause any socks being worn to vanish. The game shows as they're still on the sim but they're not visible and the sims's feet reappear.
