can't make ANY food off grid with off grid appliances

I added an off-grid lot trait to a lot with all of the grid lighting and appliances and I am unable to make ANY food even salad no matter how much ice I add or ANY records I have

Does this happen for any save game you test or just a specific one ?

Do you also not have any light or just issues with the food ?

    - just new save files
    - and only the food

      just gave this a quick test and it works fine for me. Do you not get the cook menu at all or is everything greyed out when you choose cook ?

      Are ou yuisn the cook or the cook of the grid menu ? 

      Could you maybe share some screenshots ?
