Gallery not working "No results"

Hello,
My problem is that I can no longer use the gallery for some unknown reason.

SETUP

Game: Sims 4

System: PC Windows 10 (64-bit)
Platform: EA
Mods/CC: No
Problem frequency: 100% (on each attempt)
When the problem occurs: When I open the gallery (no matter where, from the home screen, in game in CAS or in construct mode).

Description of the problem :
I restarted The Sims after a long period of not playing and found that I can no longer use the gallery at all. When I open it, the home page loads for a very long time and displays "No results" (even though I haven't searched for anything yet, the home page is supposed to show me featured content). When I try a search, no matter the filter "Maxis", "All", "Custom content",... nothing is displayed. Same for my personal page, I no longer see what I shared, nor even my gallery description and my highlighted elements.

Resolution attempts already tried:
Before posting my problem, I tried A LOT of solutions (the goal is not to bother here so that the answer is "Have you tried turning off and on your computer").

  • Restart the computer
  • Restart the Sims 4
  • Delete all Documents/ElectronicArts/Sims4 folder
  • Repair the game from the EA application
  • Launch the game as administrator
  • Turn off my Windows firewall
  • Update my drivers
  • Create an exception for Sims 4 on Windows Defender
  • Refresh my DNS (although I don't even know exactly what that is)

I would still like to point out that the internet connection does not seem to be completely cut in my game because I continue to receive Sims Delivery and the game's Home Page updates and seems to work well.
I don't see any problem other than the gallery.

I have visit all the forums, videos and help sites, I don't see what else I can do to solve my problem...

I'm attaching the image of the problem, even if there isn't much to see other than "No results" written in French.

Honestly I don't even have much hope that anyone here can help me, but I'll give it a try.

Sorry if my English isn't perfect, it's not my native language!

THANKS

    Hello @luthienrising  ,
Sorry for my late response, this problem had irritated me, I moved on for a few months.

But, since then, I have completely reset my computer, so I reinstalled the EA app again and the Sims and I realize that months later, starting from 0, the problem persists!

I managed to contact EA Support, but the solutions I was given were only things I had already done.

So I reinstalled my game, and I also did Repair as suggested but no progress, my Gallery does not work and it seems that I do not have access to any online content because I tried to connect my Twitter account from the game options and the connection would not work.

So I'm at the starting point, I have no clue to this problem.

I'm really annoyed because I used the Gallery very often, it's part of my recurring gameplay.

    Hello,
How do I do a Game Report?
    Otherwise I'm on PC!
    Thank you

I'd suggest, then, one more Game Report before you move any of that folder content back. If that doesn't help, are you on a PC or a Mac? I can move you for techincal support.

    Hello,

First of all, I want to thank you for your response and your time.

So I tried the new test you asked for. I moved the Sims 4 file to the desktop and restart the game.

I really thought it was going to work because I got a new message from the gallery asking me to accept the terms of use (which I did) :

    (Sorry still in french)

But once I enter the gallery, exactly the same problem occurs: it loads for a very long time then it shows me that there are no results :

I therefore see that the problem does not come from my Sims 4 file and that probably no file in my saves is corrupt given that even if I remove them the gallery still does not work...
If only I could at least understand where the problem was coming from...

    Thanks again for your time,

  • Hi @Thelmas . The Gallery is definitely still functioning. Could you do a new test for me? Drag the Sims 4 folder to the desktop, start the game, start a new save, and screenshot the Gallery as it first comes up and then search results.
