Game ruined after July 10th update

all my save games gone.at 8pm on july 10th my game automatically updated when I got back all my saved for wiped away and it says new game as if I’ve never played before.
please help I’ve tried file and recycle bin
one drive , doing the search with slot_ , going to onedrive.com locating all my files
it’s as if someone deleted them but I would never do that there was so many I would know if I did or not. Specifically
Please help before the update all my saves disappeared and all that was on the screen was my sims in the picture with the resume still there I logged off the game making it just needed to restart to get back to normal, then the game automatically updated when I got back to the game all my save games all got deleted somehow, also my save file in sims4 electronic arts all of them are gone too. I’ve checked my recycling bin nothing
anything from 7/10 after 8pm 2025 is all that I see on my sims file saves it says scratch on the file
