Grim reaper awards in different household

Hi all,

I started the grim reaper event in a different save then I actually wanted to. Is there a way to reset the event or get the event prices to a different save or household? For example the Freezer Bunny collection?

Hope someone can help me :).

  • SimmerMarly  The rewards you claim are universal, tied to your account, except for the consumables.  You can buy the others in any save.

If you'd like to start the event over, move accountDataDB.package out of Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  But don't delete it—this holds the data from the first login rewards event.  Instead, keep this copy elsewhere, and put it back (deleting the new copy) once your main household has completed this round of events.

  • This doesn't work, atleast for me it doesn't. Is there any other way? I've deleted or removed accountdataDB package, usersetting.ini, events.ini, localthumbcache.package even mods separately together it doesn't matter any new game already has it as week complete and the original load that had the person doing event is deleted so now I'm worried if I can continue event if the original sim is not there to continue it.

  • happysharrk  The rewards are tied to your account, so they should still be present.  The tasks can be done by any sims in any save, so you'll be fine once the second week's tasks show up.

I haven't finished the event myself, so it's possible that the event can only be restarted while it's still in progress, that finishing it removes it from the game.  But in that case, it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things: you'll still have your rewards, and the tasks weren't special anyway.
