How can i get a redemption code for my child's account?

I am wondering how to get a Sims 4 redemption code for my daughter so she can download the game on her PC laptop.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

  • Hello HorsePhilandery,

To get The Sims 4 added to a child account, you'll need to reach out to the live support team and they can get that manually added to the account for you.

Unfortunately, they never responded to my request.  Any other tips on how to get the redemption code?

Did you ever get this resolved?  I've been trying for 3 days to get in touch with someone, and the closest I've been able to get is opening a case, which now wants me to read articles or select a different issue.  I can't find an option to chat for the life of me.

    Hey there Zherkof

If you're not seeing an option to chat with live support on the help site, try selecting different topic/issues for your help request.

Thanks, I finally found a topic that offered it.  That's got to be the lousiest way to offer support.  Why make people hunt for a way to chat?  Also, with this game being free and the issue being identified for over 3 years, why hasn't something been done to streamline this process?  Maybe put a button on the product page that lets parents chat right from there to get this done?  This was an extremely frustrating process.
