july 1st patch update
ever since i updated my game on July 1st my sims have been unable to interact with any object. before removing all mods i only left twisted mexi's better exceptions in the files to help me understan...
Although you have tested by removing the tray and saves folders, try also resetting your whole sims 4 folder, and testing in a new save game without putting back any of your data in the sims 4 folder and see if the issue remains in that new save game.
