Today I decided to begin the event and I noticed that after entering the library it turned completely untextured. I don't have any mods or shaders for texture installed, but only for clothes, furniture and 2 script mods that don't even change it. The lot when I enter it is completely fine.
Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
Also try repairing the game.
Repairing the game didn't work, also removing the mods. I think this might be caused by the game itself, since it looks similliar to the release of sims 4 world map
Do you have the same if you test a new save game ?
