options for more non played families? not MCCC

ok im sorry i cant name this correctly, i dont even know how to word this properly, but im new to sims 4. i noticed that there were not many houses being filled despite ticking fill emty houses. i want a lot of neighbors and random people in the game so i went on the gallery and saved/donwloaded, whatever, some of those families thinking i would see them on the streets or maybe they would move in, nope, idnt move in at all! so i went online and found if i download MC command Center, i could do more and fill the houses, make random non played characters have babies which i love, so i downloaded it.  i like it, but these random babies are not aging up! i had one of these families i downloaded and moved into a house, clicked that i dont play them anymore, they were one of these random pregnancies. a week later, still a baby and have another baby.

i know i could just move in a bunch of families from the gallery, make them have kids, let them grow up, do all this stuff manually and then click the icon so they dont show up that i play them, but is there any other option? i hate how there are soo many babies with mccc but the babies are not growing up! i do have aging on for non played characters and off for the houses i play with cause i dont want them to age without me saying so, i just dont know what to do.

again im sorry i cant explain this well and i hope this makes sense, i just want to know what you guys do. i do not have many families yet, i have the one main one i play with and maybe 2 other households i play with, so there are no where near enough for me to fill with my own households, i just want more random people and kids and stuff. and for people to move into the empty houses.

I don't understand your problem. I also have MCC and all NPC families have children, children grow up, families move, cities are full of sims.
It all depends on how you set the options in the MCC/ Population section. This should be set on the sim's computer in the game.

You just have to remember that it will not happen in three sims days. After the two Sims year, you will have a lot of Sims and no empty houses.

    Without MCC, this isn't possible

    I don't work for EA

  • My problem is the npc babies are not growing up. I have it set for auto aging for npc, and on the mccc settings I have had babies life span the auto which is 2 or 3 days, and also changed it to only 1 day and the babies don't grow.I now have 2 babies in one house born 2 different times and neither one is growing up they're staying a baby.

Never changed it and didn't check it. I'm not especially interested in babies. I accepted it as normal, that it takes for NPC about 5 days - maybe longer. Certainly not three in my game. It is worth the check. Maybe this information should be passed to Dreadpole. Do you have Seasons? Have you changed the length of the month?

  • yes i have seasons and i did change it to the longest length, although almost a full season has passed in my game since the first batch of babies were born. i will find out how to pass it along, didnt think of that. my main thing is i want kids so they can grow up and have more kids, if that makes sense. i dont want to keep having to move in new people once they die. i would kinda like the game to do it itself, which is what i took mccc to be, but i could be wrong, like i said im new to sims so im not sure
