I am now having this issue as well. It just doesn't allow me to buy brave. I have 3 fears for ?whatever? reason and they're making my Sim barely able to function beyond hiding under the covers nearly all of the time. I definitely have the satisfaction points, and do not have the squeamish trait. How do I fix this?
I asked this question in an already existing thread. The thread locked. Here I am in a thread that's alive, still trying to figure out how to fix this.
I did try the potion, but it still was not available. However, upon reloading the game, I was at least able to calm down enough to get rid of the creepy objects. The brave potion was still not available.
I am not using mods or cc. for -that household only-, it still does not let me buy the Brave potion, despite having gotten rid of the immediate fears and managing to get rid of the spooky objects.
