Re: How to report someone

@Ashunerax I've reported that you are having issues with the form and your post about it. You are not the first to say there was an issue with it. Please be patient as it's looked into.

    Hey there @Ashunerax,

Just checking in, are you still unable to create a case via help.ea.com

If so, just to confirm that I got that right: you tried to submit a case on both Chrome and Microsoft Edge but were unable to on both browsers.

When you say "it refuses to go forward," what exactly happens? Are you getting an error message, an infinite loading screen, does the page freeze ...?

And you said you tried general troubleshooting steps already: clearing the browser cache, history, and cookies. Have you also tried submitting a case in incognito mode by any chance?

  • @EA_Leeloo Hey, my browser does not get through the "We're creating your case. Sit tight and stay on this page." screen.
Incognito mode did not change the issue.

I'll let the browser sit on this for the next few hrs but I very much doubt that'll change the result.

    Hi @Ashunerax,

Just checking in, any news on your issue, or is your case still not being created for you via the website?

If it's the latter, can you confirm if would you be able to request a callback or join a live chat at all, or if you are not even getting to that point?

    Thanks,

    - Leeloo

  • @EA_Leeloo As I mentioned above, after filling all the information the webpage is stuck on "We're creating your case. Sit tight and stay on this page." stage and does not do anything after.
I am trying to use the report a website (or so a patreon page to precise) through this FAQ/Help page; https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-report-cheat-hack-scam-websites-to-ea/
There is no case created on my page, only years old stuff.

I'm done with this at this point, it has been a week I've been fighting with this. And then you wonder why people do not want to even try to report anything on the Sims community outside the easy gallery reporting and even those are being abused.

I had this same issue some time ago when using the same website and form (to report a player, not website, but otherwise the same). I did what OP did, and also restarted my internet connection and computer. I managed to submit a report a couple of days later, but I don't know if anything I did was a factor in this.

    Hey there @Ashunerax,

Thank you for getting back to me on this. I can totally understand that it's been really frustrating for you not to be able to create a case for quite some time.

Usually, if this kind of issue comes up, it can be resolved by trying a different browser or device, and basic troubleshooting as may have been the case for @DonroaAkashu.

If you decide you want to try again, I'd be happy to see if we can get to the bottom of this - just let me know!

Hi! I'm also having trouble reporting a creator who has paywall blocked all of their cc on Patreon. The contact EA form doesn't have the selections specific to this situation. EA's report players page is also not useable for this problem.

    Thanks!
