Romance Bar Missing

The romance bar doesn’t exist at all for any of my sims. My sims (irrespective of individual sim or save file) can do romance interactions, have positive romance (I.e. the heart with the plus come up) when they do these interactions, and progress through them (e.g., from flirt to first kiss to woohoo) but no matter what the romance bar doesn’t exist and only the friendship bar is present. It isn’t that the romance bar remains empty, it just isn’t there at all. I have removed all mods and CC, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled and repaired the game and the issue hasn’t resolved.

    Hi TomNielsen12 

    Try the following

    - Close the game
    - Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    - Repair the game
    - Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
    - Start a new save game
    - Check if you still have the error
    - Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
