Sims 4 - Retail Employees Always Changing their own Work Task

Hello, so about a year back when I was playing with the retail stores from GTW the employees always did the work task that my sim assigned for them and they did that task until my own sim assigned something different for them. It used to be very self controlled. I don't know what happened but now when my sim assigns a work task for the employee, they will do the task for a very short amount of time and then change their task to something else by themselves. For example: my sim tells the employee to restock sold items, the employee will go restock 0 to 3 items, then they will automatically change their own task to ringing up costumers even if there are more items that need to be restocked. I don't know what to say to the employees to get them to do the task I asked and stop changing it. I also don't know if this was an intentional change or if this is a bug. The employee my sim has right now has very high retail skills, but I just hired her. This happens with all employees now though regardless of their retail skills.
