Sims 4 - Sim refuses to wash dish in the kitchen
I know how well known this problem is but this time it's getting pretty ridiculous! My sim does live in a pretty narrow house. I'm not sure is that's the problem though. I have a dishwasher and a sink in the kitchen of this water tower inspired house I built. I play tested the sink in the kitchen by making my sim wash her hands. There was absolutely no problem. The dishwasher is right next to it so I am sure she should have zero problem reaching it. Still she prefers to go up two flights into the bathroom to wash the dishes. Why doesn't my sim realize that there is a working sink and dishwasher right next to her in the kitchen? They are both not custom content ether! Please see the attachments for pictures of what I'm talking about. I'm not sure if anyone would know a fix for this. In her business that she owns a similar thing happens. She only washes one dish in the closest sink even though there are tons of other plates everywhere and on the same table left by costumers. Does anyone have any idea why this one specific sim is so freaking bad at washing dishes? XD
Hi @XCoco_LolipopX Yes, a well known issue, annoying indeed! No 'fix' I can think of, bar deleting some sinks 😉
There are however a few mods (if not opposed to them, a few are certainly not hard to keep updated though) These mods allow you to set individual sinks on any lot to enable or disable dish washing, most popular is the one made by Scumbumbo, and is being kept updated by avid modders due to his passing 💔 and is found at scumbumbomods .com (no clickable links to mod download sites are allowed here.)
