Sims won't go upstairs

Every time I try to have my sims go upstairs, or do an activity upstairs (sleep, shower, etc.), they won't do it because they say they can't go there. Even when I click on the floor itself, it won't ...

    Thank you so much for all of your advice! I took away that room completely, which didn't end up working. However, I redid all of the roofs, including the first floor, and I think that did that trick, as I can actually click on the second floor now. It's strange because I've had them live here for so long with no problems. Hopefully it'll stay that way! Thank you again for the help and advice!

Hi ValerieR63​ 

I gave this a short test and you can't even click on the floor which is odd. The house somehow has a roof underneath the first floor but removing that doesn't solve the issue so there might be something else going on.

I'm not a builder so I'm not really able to help you fix the house but I think it's something odd about it and it's not a bug so I moved this to gameplay for further troubleshooting.

Hopefully a builder can help you with this.

Thank you for testing the house! I ended up having to redo the roofs and remove the 1x1 tile room, and that seemed to help. Thank you again for testing it out and helping!
