I knew there was a similar discussion. However, I didn't find the discussion about this issue about "everywhere" yet. So, I start a new one with the information from my testing with my saved file.(Disclaimer: My save is modded, has MCCC, and has "Show Sim Info" to get info.)I visited a park in Chestnut Ridge and found a couple named Roswell who live in Strangerville. It's so lovely, isn't it? But there are some strange things about this. If you have Strangerville GP, you will know that... Townies who live in Strangerville "rarely" spawned outside their world. Some places have exceptions about region limits such as restaurants, bowling lots (team members with uniforms), gossipers in Finchwick Fair, etc. You can't find them appearing outside without a special role.Then I have evidence that it's a Lovestruck (EP16) issue. I used the "Show Sim Info" mod to see the name of their role and found this (red underline).This can make sure that they are spawned by the game to have a date.In another try that I played for a longer time, after a few minutes, the game spawns at least 3 couples. I saw from other players that it can reach 4 couples too.About my personal opinion.It would be cute and lovely if it's only 1-2 couples and has the more rare chance to appear such as 10-20% or 50% at most. It shouldn't be every time like the current situation.They should respect the region-limited rule if it exists. And they shouldn't appear in the place they shouldn't be such as temple ruins in Selvadorada. I think it would be better to give "EP16NPC_VenueDate" sims in a specific place to make it more special. Why don't they appear mostly in Ciudad Enamorada, the city of love? I wouldn't complain if it's like that. You can spawn as many lovers as you want in the city of love!Or I think it can be like "The Festival of Light" in Mt. Komorebi where couples from every world are spawned.It should be a collab with Seasons EP's Love Day too. I wouldn't complain much if the couple is spammed on this holiday. (But please don't give "situation outfit" to them cruelly lol.)I don't mind about the same couple appearing again and again if it's for a more special situation. This time, I can't make up my mind to play the main save until there are some mods to fix this.(Sadly I can't disable this pack because I already use the new hairstyle from this EP in my main sims because it fits him perfectly. I saw that you replied to my answer HQ post. Yes, I completely agree, I have this pack disabled now because this completely destroys the sims spawning system. I started a new save and just checked how bad it was and it's absolutely terrible. I put my sim in Oasis Springs, and started by going to the park.There were no kids spawning, and also no sims spawning to play chess, I don't even think I saw anyone go fishing, the park seemed completely dead apart from... 8 lovestruck sims who all sat and did the same cloudgazing animation at all the park benches that was available at the park. One single kid spawned at the park and looked lonely, my sim made no friends and I started getting bored quickly, so I went to the gym.At the gym there was 3 sims working out, immediately as my sim spawned in her workout outfit the game immediately spawned 4 lovestruck sims who walked straight into the gym in their everyday clothing and just stood there. I barely met any new sims.Don't EA realize how much this ruins the gameplay for many players? I disabled lovestruck and did the same thing, I met sims playing chess, I met Judith Ward fishing at the pond, kids played with each other, I met many new sims, I met classic sims like Summer Holiday, I went to the gym and it was full of classic active sims, We all remember how we met classic premade sims on different lots. Well they are all gone now, it's just adult lovestruck couples EVERYWHERE.If anyone from EA sees this, I am not bashing on the pack or the hard work you put in it, but meeting new sims was my favorite thing to do in this game. PLEASE remove this, or just limit them to Ciudad Enamorada like coloncocon suggested.

Just to say, I am now using LittleMsSam's mod and I love it. No more couples at the temples, yay! Now in the parks, yes there are a few couples, but I noticed there was also a bunch of kids coming into the park, playing on the playground equipment. The couples haven't invaded the playground equipment yet, lol.

  Thank you for your reply! Your information at HQ post made me want to shout out on EA Forums. I have to create a new one because it's not just Selvadorada.
  Your experiment made me shock that this Lovestruck situation isn't limited only to the park but the gym and more as well! I playtest to make sure how it be and found like you said.
  I can't see 4 couples at the same time in my test. But it might be because it's the old save that has enough variety of population. For example, the chess player will be chosen from townies who have logic skill level ~5+. (You can see the same people such as Bjorn, Mei Prescott, and more depending on what packs you have.) Fishing is the same, those are chosen by skills.
  
  That's mean I think when the new save doesn't have existing sims that match the criteria, the game may make the new one. But if "Lovestruck couples" made the slot full earlier, no chance to make new variation of sims. The situation of new save will be awful like you said.

  How do you disable that thing? It's gotten so all I do is try to stop established couples from breaking up, and only doing enough with their kids so they don't get taken away! If I wanted to do nothing but relationships, I'd make all my sims infertile ☹️

    You can go to James Turner's page and follow the instructions. His generator will provide the code you need to enter in the launch options.
    But do bear in mind that the game is going to give you a warning message that everything might not work correctly if you play a save where you have played with lovestruck, you can still play the save and the only thing I have noticed is that when you will eventually play lovestruck again you will have double premade sims from that pack.
    I simply loaded an older save from before I played with lovestruck, that will not generate a warning.

  logionXDo you feel the game is more steady without the pack installed?I was thinking about returning to the game again without having lovestruck installed..After the last update my sim started to started to buffer and stutter more then usual around her toddles and when she was dealing with her horses.. i also noticed she was no longer doing any self discoveries and it felt a bit to much besides everything else so i uninstalled..I figured i was going to wait for a patch to be released at first but then i saw this thread :)

  I don't deny that it's cute. I am also happy when I see my Sims appear. But it will be boring soon when it happens "every time everywhere". At least they should stop appearing in the place they shouldn't (such as temple ruins).

But based on mod description I rather use the mod atreya33 linked, as it only allows these couples to spawn at park and at beach. The other mod makes it so only less spawn in venues, so I would assume they spawn in temple too.

However, there is one lot what will often render as unplayable (lot still works of course , but nobody at bar) with both mods, and it is Pub in Henford. As pub keeper couple always spawns to do their role. But now they were often doing that, bar full customers but no bartender (this lot works differently from other bars) .

  Thank you for the link to the mod and suggest another one as well. I think Littlemssam's one would be suitable for stopping them appear in other lots. I may try both and compare the results.
  BTW, Henford pub's case is another big problem that needs to be fixed.

I'll clearly hold back getting this pack. All benches filled with dating couples sounds way too much...
EA way too often overdo a new feature, and then it gets tuned down eventually to give space for something new. My problem with this is that I would be fine with playing romance stuff in a few households, but not in all of them. I wish we could keep space for some of the many old features too, not letting it all go only because of one new pack. The temple situation sounds horrible. I though the temple getting holiday decor was quite bad - all those lights in the jungle made no sense, but the new problem with regular couples hanging around as if it was an ordinary park sounds like ruining the jungle pack.

    If it's GP SP, I will wait, but sadly I'm a collector type and don't want to miss the exclusive items. 😿 If you don't mind about these items, I agree that waiting is better for the safety of your saved file.
    Even if I bought EP in time, I usually disable new packs until I know every possible bug from the community. About For Rent EP, I waited around half a year before using it. The major bug is too scary to let it be in my main save.

  I agree, the new feature is often overdone to the annoying level. The worst thing is the new feature sometimes disturbs the old feature, such as phone calls.
  I don't have to rely on mods to tune in almost many parts of the feature but I don't have a chance because they seem to treat it as a feature.
  Right now, some mods can get rid of the worst situations such as Jungle Temple. But the park situation still can't avoid those couples. So, if you don't like this, you better hold back until then.

I tested out the mod from LittleMsSam's and it was glorious, I also found other minor mods from LittleMsSam and i had zero problems. I spent 5 hours playing on and off and only saw two couples gazing upon the stars. This is exactly what i would like to see without mods, the rest were busy chatting and playing games at the local bar. My sim had a fun evening all together :)

  Glad to hear that! In my game, there are still 3 couples that this EP spawns when visiting the park, but not every couple is star/cloud gazing. It may be like your game; some couples do other activities besides gazing.
  Even though I want fewer couples (especially when same couples coming across the world), It's better now than non-modded when visiting the park. And the best thing is every lot besides parks and beaches is safe now!
  LittleMsSam and Bienchen mods (and some more) are life-saving for me. Their mini mods can fix many absurd overdoing things that developers don't treat as the issue.

I just came across a new mod from littlemssam to correct this excessive couple spawning. I know there are simmers who can't or don't want to use mods, but it can be a solution for some simmers. I am honestly very happy to see this mod. Because this issue would be a reason not to buy the pack (waiting for a sale as well ) .

If this really got moved from bugs to feedback, then the sims team has a very different view on the game. Couples in love all the time everywhere isn't needed. I wish the couple spawning was tied to a lot trait, just like the singles spawning lot trait.

I've tested two mods. My result is like this.
RSM (Lovestruck) - Less NPC Dates on Venues (by LittleMsSam)
- Can prevent couples from almost every lot except the park and the beach as the modder's attempt
- The temple ruins are safe from invading finally!
- In the park, the amount is still unchanged for me, I found 3 (and sometimes 4) couples.
Less Couples on Community Lots (by down-in-simsland)
- Can lower the couple amount to 1 (or 2 at most).
- Don't prevent couples from any lot."
- The temple ruins still spawn the couple immediately when you arrive. Just only one couple now.
How about your result? If you have something different, feel free to share.

  To me empty temple ruins means more than parks.
  And as I also use Home Regions by Kuttoe, I don't even have many suitable couples in every world. Why I will be using LSM- mod 🙂

    So, Home Regions mod can prevent couple from every place include the park? That’s great! 🤩 If it is like that, no need any more mod for sure!
    However, this mod seems to have many feature and alternations to the game. I would have to study about descriptions and play-test first. And I prefer to not limit townies by world. But thanks for mentioning this mod.

Little personal update :
I feel more relieved to continue playing right now after finding various way to tune down (mainly with mods) and think positive while waiting the developers to tune or fix.
I will come back to my main save tomorrow and observe how things will change after I manage them. Sorry if this discussion is pop up too frequently because of my replies. Anyway, I want to thank you every response and information supports. I’m glad that I choose to try communicating with this community.
