Newly Broken/Obsolete Game Mods and Tools

FAILED TO LAUNCH ERROR:

• "Failed to Launch" message
• plain black screen on launch (no words)
• sometimes you can launch but are missing CC in CAS

A patch for these specific issues was released March 23, 2026. If you have them, please update. If you still have them after that, it's possible that there are other causes. Please do a vanilla test. If the issue persists, please update your ReShade; if you don't use that or other mods that aren't Mods-folder content, go to the Bug Reports forum.

Broken Mods and Tools

All mods listed broken either are reported broken by the creator or are tested by me or a trusted tester, unless otherwise noted. See also: the separate Previously Broken list, and (below) Updated Mods and Tools and broken and updated CC lists.

Known Issues

• BrazenLotus – notebook function broken for BrazenLotus mods
• TwistedMexi – Better BuildBuy – doesn’t show Maker Kits filter in Build mode

Obsolete and Unsupported Mods

Obsolete mods are (mostly) bugfixes that are no longer needed; remove them. Unsupported mods are either being no longer supported by their creator or have been replaced by a newer mod. See Previously Broken for mods reported obsolete/unsupported for previous patches.

• Amethyst-Lilac – No Script Call Fail/LE from StrangerVille Plant Containment Cell and Get to Work Test Tube Pedestal – obsolete
• Midiar – all mods – “unstable” and temporarily unsupported
• NickyClem – EMA Phone Menu
• Simsiboy
  • Dynamic Main Menu – discontinued
  • Minimalistic Main Menu – discontinued
• ToxicSimmer – full-time careers – removed/unsupported
• Tralfaz482 – Meatwalls for All – no longer available

Not a Mod Issue

• Can’t find “Pack Selection” in the main menu? It’s moved. You’ll now go to Marketplace > Your Collection > Pack Selection.
• Some packs aren’t loading and you already tried refreshing the EA App cache? Head to Bug Reports.
