Sims 4 Bundles Discs

Am I able to own multiple disc bundles and use them at the same time? I have owned Island Living for a long time on a bundle disc and have never had any problems with it and I could've sworn I've changed to the base game disc before and still been able to use it. Today I bought the Eco Lifestyle disc and even though I have Island Living downloaded as an add on it's not working at the same time as the other one or as the base game disc. Please Paka'a Uha needs his hair back! Also now that I've tried it a few times neither of them seem to want to work at all. Since the July 1st update I along with apparently MANY others have had numerous troubles with the game. I personally have experienced multiple error codes such as 34 and 21. I looked them up and I can't seem to figure out how to do anything about it by myself. My boyfriend is tech savvy but he doesn't play the game so he doesn't know what to do either. Beyond error codes I have the bug that causes inability to drag dishes and trash to sinks and garbage cans, my sims won't sleep and stay in bed, I get error codes that won't let me save then I exit out of the game to go back in and pick up where I left off with the previous save and the entire save file is missing, I have the bug that won't allow pregnancy to work as usual, I have the bug that won't allow my sims to get married without trying a gazillion times, the Nature's Calling event isn't working propertly as of this morning because when I click on the new woodworking table, it doesn't give my sim (level 6 handiness) the option to build the dining table, etc. etc. I have seen other people mention their sims not going to work as well. I lost a legacy save to this and I'm pretty upset after 11 generations of it but I can always restart, or I could if my game would perform properly. Please help!! The new update seems to have caused so many bugs that the game cannot and will not run properly.
