i have a mac and my sims four won’t connect to the internet

hello, so i originally thought my issue was linked to CC so i uninstalled it all, that didn’t work i then proceeded to uninstall and reinstall the game but with no luck i then checked the settings in game and my “online social features” is ticked so i have no clue what else could be the issue i think this issue started when origin changed to EA on mac i also keep getting the delivery error “000000008:0000000000000000” zeros may be slightly of but i assume the two issues are both linked to the lack of internet connection (my mac is connected to the internet)
