- @EA_Darko The game will not launch at all.
I will try delete my installed mods, where can I find them? - @EA_Darko I have removed all the files in the mods file, and the game will not open when I click the game «app».

Are you still getting the Initialisation Error message? Can you please move your whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop and then try to launch your game? - @Bluebellflora Yes, still not working. I moved the sims 4 folder, and it did not work.
Thanks 🙂 Please make sure your Electronic Arts has no Sims 4 folder in it and then try this super repair:
- In your Applications folder right click on the Sims 4 app and select Show Package Contents.
- Navigate to Contents > Mac OS.
- Right click on The Sims 4 and select Move to Trash. Don't drag the file as it will only move an alias and leave the original in place.
- Now open Origin, right click on The Sims 4 in your Games Library and click Repair Game.
- Now see if you can launch your game
- @Bluebellflora That does not work either☹️

☹️ Before we take the drastic step of uninstalling and reinstalling, set up a new user account on your Mac and see if it will launch in that account. Make sure it is an administrator account. - @Bluebellflor I did the steps over twice and the second time the game installed itself because it said it may be broken. Now the game launches, but all my game content is still gone.
Halfway there...! Is this in your usual Mac user account or a new one?
Your saves and other user content is in your Sims 4 folder that you moved to the desktop. You should move over your saves into the newly created Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves folder to see if they can load. Don't move the saves folder itself, just one save file. Save files are named Slot_00000003.save and similar. Do NOT move one named Slot_00000001.save, move one ending in a different number or letter.
- @Bluebellflora But the sims 4 «app» does not work, I can only open the game from origin. The app has a white mark over it, and says it can not open because it may be damaged.
