But didn't you just manage to open it? Can you post a screenshot of the app with the question mark over it? Where is the app located on your Mac?
Please check the install location in Origin too by going to Origin > Preferences > Installs & Saves. You can see the install location under Game Library Location. - @Bluebellflora Yes, I can open the game. But only if I press play in Origin. The «app» will not work.
The sims 4 app is white with a mark over.

That's the Dock shortcut. Where is the actual game installed on your Mac? Which version of macOS are you running? - @Bluebellflora I do not know where the game is installed, where can I find it?
MacOS Catalina, version 10.15.3 - @Mettekroken
As I mentioned above in Origin - Please check the install location in Origin too by going to Origin > Preferences > Installs & Saves. You can see the install location under Game Library Location. - @Bluebellflora It’s in norwegian so i couldn’t find it at first, but I think I found it now. It says «on your computer» «users/mettekroken/applications».

Good, so it's in the correct location in your Applications Folder. Open a Finder window and click on your home folder (the little house with your name next to it) in the sidebar. Then open the Applications folder. Your Sims 4 app will be in there, double click to try and open it. - @Bluebellflora It opens. But the game is still like a new one.
