Sims 4 crashing & not working for months

Hello, 

My Sims 4 hasn't been working for months. I've tried everything I've read on this forum (deleting & reinstalling, repairing, removing mods, not using cheats...) and NOTHING, NOTHING WORKS. I literally cannot access any lot or play more 5 minutes without it just starting to freeze and forcing me to either turn it off or simply crashing (without leaving me the option of saving ofc). Obviously tried to contact EA Help but as usual in vain - still waiting for a reply from the chat service - I don't know what to do at this point and it's seriously frustrating and infuriating as I've spent lots of time playing this game growing up (and deleting and restarting a 100 times just because I was trying to figure out what is wrong)  and I feel like at this point I just have to give it up.
