Hello
I'm dealing with a most annoying bug. it says that my sims 4 is already running while in fact it isn't. I'm a MacBook user and I play my sims 4 from an external hard drive. I tried to google a resolution and ask EA how to get it fixed but LITERALLY NOTHING seems to work for me. I even watched YT videos and it also didn't work. This is so frustrating I've never had this problem before. hopefully someone can help me?
I'm not great with computers so explain it easy. 😕 😳

Merged into the main thread. See the solution on page 1 for one possible fix.
Is your external drive properly mounting on your desktop/showing up in Finder?
When prompted to grant Origin and the game permission to access various locations on your Mac during the installation process, did you grant permission or click deny?
