[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

After the new Origin update, my Origin account will only show a 404 error. I've reinstalled and restarted with no luck.
Also, I can still get around this to access Sims 4, but it either just loads forever or keeps shutting down. This all started after the newest update. I'm on a Mac.

Im having the same problems! I cannot enter save game.

What happens when the bug occurs? Can't enter a saved game, the starting site with the "sims icon just freeze an I can't quit the game or play the game.  
What do you expect to see? I was expecting to be able to enter the saved game and play my previous games. 
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? The latest update of Sims I think. 

17/11 patch seems unsuccessful. Now whenever I click on play game it just shows a sims loading screen for ages. Will not start.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Im not sure, But whenever I go on the game make a new family and it asks me to pick a season to play in, the towns go missing, and the screen is white. So I can't even play it at all.
What happens when the bug occurs? The towns you can live in don't show up so I can't even play the game at all. I downloaded this yesterday so I don't know if its a problem with the expansion pack or if its a problem with the new update you guys made and installed.
What do you expect to see? I would like to see it be fixed so I can play the game again and the exspansions work and everything is back up and running like it was the last time I played.

Hello, I downloaded a few new updates in the bundle pack, one of them being the seasons one, and when I pick on a season to play in the twins go blank and there's no towns to live in that come up? is this a problem with the new download from yesterday or is this its own thing. Thank you.

I have a same problem. I waited a half hour, and nothing. I just get sick of all songs... Previously i cant play since the october update till the november 13 update, cuz all sims was red and white, looked like a broken cc, but i dont even use cc, and now i cant play again. Amazing. Whats gonna happen after the "big" december update?
