[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.156.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have Get Famous, Get Together, Island Living, Seasons, Dine out, Outdoor Retreat, Parenthood, Realm of Magic, Bowling night stuff, Laundry day stuff, Tiny living, and the free Christmas pack.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? I load the game up, press play and it gets stuck on the loading screen. I then start a new one, create a sim and it says select world and none are up there.
What do you expect to see? My game load up, Worlds
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It was just a patch to fix the bugs with the new Snowy Escape and platforms update.

I load the game up, press play and it gets stuck on the loading screen. I then start a new one, create a sim and it says select town and none are up there. The image would just be of the loading screen. I am trying to re download the game and expansions to see if that fixes things.

I have a mac, my game keeps loading and doesn't play anymore.

Tried repairing the game

tried reinstalling

tried to find .dmg file.

tried deleting the entire ea folder and all folders inside.

tried playing the game after reinserting mods, saved games, tray files, after reinstall.

not a thing works. nada.

Hi, I had the same problem. Someone said if you are using Origin to right click on the game on origin and hit repair and it worked for me! Hopefully that works!
