bdevonm2 If you still need help with this issue, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know whether you've noticed any kind of pattern to what you do before the game freezes. For example, maybe you're placing debug items, or at least you have in that session; or you're building on a particular lot or in a specific world; or you've downloaded a lot from the Gallery and are in the process of editing it.
