Game not launching

Matilda42069 Can you load a different household within this save? Use Load Game rather than Resume, which will put you in Manage Worlds, and then choose a household you've never played before.
If that doesn't work, let me know whether you can successfully start a new save.
If that doesn't work either, please provide a dxdiag. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
