Gameplay crashing

I just recently bought a brand-new Microsoft monitor and mini-PC to play sims and it keeps crashing. The mini-PC has 16 GB, and all mods have been removed from the game. I get about 10 minutes of gameplay in, and the computer either turns completely off or closes out of the game. I've looked into previous discussions on here with no luck. I've already tried-clearing cache, repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game/driver program, system reset of PC, both dx9 and dx11, new save of the game.

puzzlezaddict I did the clean uninstall and reinstalled the AMD driver from August. It crashed while playing again. Listed below is the new error message.

    https://crinrict.com/blog/2019/02/clean-re-install-of-graphics-drivers-with-display-driver-uninstaller-ddu.html

Rather than using the newest AMD driver, however, try the one from August.  I've seen a few reports that point to a potential issue with the current driver, and the one from August is new enough to be compatible with Sims 4.  You can get it here:

    https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/previous-drivers.html/processors/ryzen/ryzen-5000-series/amd-ryzen-7-5700g.html

If you get another crash while using this driver (and don't let your computer auto-update the driver), please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
