jtk0291 I had an unusually busy day yesterday and didn't have time for the forums, so sorry about the late reply. It does sound like mods are the main problem at least in terms of RAM use, but the good things about that are that you can remove relevant mods if you want and that buying more packs shouldn't add to the mod-related load.
If you'd like specific mod-related help, please post in the Mods forum. I'm out of my depth with issues beyond "remove your mods and let me know which problems are still present."
