@churr_trin Does your computer run Windows or macOS? If Windows, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

If you have a Mac, please list its full specs: everything under About This Mac except for the serial number.

@Unknowngirl28 Please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post. This article explains how to run one:

Please also let me know whether you have OneDrive active on your computer. You should be able to see a OneDrive entry in the left panel of a File Explorer window. Click on that, and if it says you need to sign in to use it, you're not using it.
i have windows
Hello,
I have attached the file. I have one drive.
@churr_trin In order to have any idea how to help you, I need to see a dxdiag. You can run it and attach the results to a post in this thread.

@Unknowngirl28 Please disable OneDrive's automatic syncing of Documents with cloud storage:
Then see whether you can start a new save.
Hi,
I did this and it didn't work. It just keeps loading and loading. I attached a pictures. Is it correct?
@Unknowngirl28 In your screenshot, the option to "make all files available" is checked, meaning the (correct) selection you've made below it will be overruled. Please uncheck that box, then test again.
Unfortunately, it doesn't stay unchecked. I attached another screenshot to show you what it looks like when I uncheck before I press "ok." Once I press 'ok' the screen disappears, so when I go back to see if it's all unchecked, the personal vault file is checked and there is a squire blue colored mark on the "make files available' button ( it looks like the first image I sent you).
I attached the picture to show you that I unchecked everything, before I press the 'ok' button!
I tried another approach:
I included another picture (screenshot 244) to show you what pops up if I try to unclick the 'vault file' individually. What to do now? Pls help!
@Unknowngirl28 You can try using this approach:
If it doesn't work, please let me know where your Documents folder is stored by default. Open a File Explorer window, right-click on Documents, select Properties > Location, and you'll see the default location. You don't need to list your username; just let me know whether OneDrive is in the file path.
If this doesn't help, or you can't uncheck Documents for some reason, things may get a bit more complicated, so it's probably better to confirm that this is in fact the problem before spending more time on it. To that end, please create a new admin account on your computer. Make it a local account, as in, don't sign into Microsoft, and don't sync with any other services. You'll be able to sign into Origin and shouldn't need to download anything, but your saves and other content won't be available. Let me know whether the game works in the new account, and we'll go from there.
