I can't find my graphics card on the list? How do I get a new one? and how do I know which one to get?

@maryb72 Try this one - video driver Double check but it looks like the right one.
To add to that it's above the 'Intel Integrated series' in the 'AMD Radeon series (integrated)' section, 5th row first card.
You can also use CTRL+F and type in the card you have, it will search on the page for you.
If you want a new card, bring your computer to a shop that can do it for you.
You want one of the cards that show in black. Orange, like yours is also fine, just not on the Ultra settings.
I downloaded the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition Beta Driver, but I didn't download the Catalyst Software Suite.
@Phantomlover1717 Ok thanks I am going to look into getting a new card. When I do if it still crashes I will keep looking! 🙂

@maryb72 I stopped using ATI (now AMD) video cards a long time ago because of continued driver problems. I now use Nvidia. The drivers I left a link to is right to AMD. I use AMD processors (FX series). The A series are APU (accelerated processing unit) is more a consumer device and I don't care for some of technology where as the FX has better data flow (IMO). The FX processors do NOT have a graphics unit so a dedicated graphic chip (card) is required. You need to update the graphics driver and see how that helps.
@roberta591 The AMD Gaming Evolved says I need to optimize my sims 4 game but then when I click optimize it says I need to relaunch to get the new version,,,?
@roberta591 Also are you sure it is compatible with the sims 4?

@maryb72 It may work with TS3 but the issue is how well. The processor is an AMD A4 - not very powerful. The A4 is an APU (accelerated processing unit). This was AMD version of the Intel I series. I use AMD processors but I only get the FX series. I feel the engineering in APUs is not game ready as most computers use the video chip that is with the A series cpus and these video chipsare not as powerful as a dedicated video chip. The combined heat of the cpu + gpu (graphics processing unit) needs good cooling to prevent overheating. The most powerful APU is the A10 andI would not recommend the APU series for graphical gaming. The video chip in the A4 is AMD Radeon HD 7480D. This chip is not in the TS3 graphics database so this chip needs to be manually added (edited in) to the GraphicCards.sgr and the GraphicRules.sgr files. IMO Compaq (which is now owned by HP) has extremely poor cooling engineering. After many years of dealing with HP engineers who refuse to warranty their poorly engineered products, I no longer service HP but I will sell you a real computer. Windows 7 main support is OVER - Windows 7 is now on extended support. 64 bit software is now coming to market. 32 bit operating systems are dying fast - yes 32 bit software runs under 64 bit operating systems. The 6305s SFF stands for small form factor. Usually these have non standard power supplies making upgrades hard. your computer has a 240W power supply which is small by today's standards. While the motherboard does have a video slot (which is probably empty) but the special power supply will make installing a more powerful card a problem. This computer makes for a very entry level gaming computer with a limited upgrade path.
Again update your very out dated video chip drivers. Once you do that you need to get TS3 to recognize the video chip so the game can configure itself to use the video chip for best performance. There are several how tos on the internet - i use this one - TS3 video card configuration so I know it works. The fact that AMD has the drivers listed as legacy is a hint.
@roberta591I am so confused.... I downloaded the first link for the AMD and it said that I needed a new version to optimize sims 4, so I uninstalled it. Then I googled AMD gaming evolved app and downloaded that but then when I clicked it on my desktop it wouldn't open up for me to optimize it. So then I went back the the first link and re uninstalled it. It still wouldn't open. So I went and clicked onto devices and printers and troubleshooted my computer and installed some audio thing. And now when I go to click on my sims 4 game in origin it doesn't open. It opens a small little tab on the left and doesn't open all the way. Before I could open it at least and play it for a bit but then it would crash. Now I can't even open it! I am not really advanced on computer things. But I 'm pretty smart, I just need you to dumb it down a little for me. What should I do now? Should I chat with ea? Or are they not going to know what to do now... This is so frustrating please someone help me! @Phantomlover1717
@roberta591 Should I just buy a new computer? If so please tell me a computer that is able to play sims 4 that can handle very high settings in the graphics? And if you could a more on the cheaper side because I'm not rich.

@maryb72 Do you live in the UK?
@roberta591 No, US.

@maryb72 cyberpowerpc.com sells computers with off the shelf components like if you were building it yourself. The system direct from cyberpowerpc are configurable - in other words you can upgrade and downgrade parts. Amazon second sources the computers from cyberpowerpc. Your going to be in the $600 and up for something with enough power to play today's games.
I configured a solid mid level gaming computer cyberpowerpc.com I upgraded a few parts and it came to $850
AMD 6300 cpu
Nvidia GTX 960 video card - upgrade
Corsair water cooler - upgrade
Corsair memory - upgrade
600w power supply - upgrade
This is close to my gaming computer.
I have bought cyberpowerpc computers and I recommend them.
@roberta591 So I didn't see the Nivida one so this way the closet I got GeForce® GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 (Maxwell). And this is the cpu AMD FX-6300 3.50 GHz Six-Core AM3+ CPU 6MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology. And the rest I got. Does that look about right?
@roberta591 And for the mean time do you have any suggestion how I can at least launch my sims 4 game?
Try running the game on the lower settings.

@maryb72 The GTX 960 - the chip is made by Nvidia. Looks about right. Like I said you will have to update the Intel video drivers AND edit the game files so the video is configured correctly. Most modern video chips will have to be edited into the game. I think I gave you a link for a how to. I looked up the Maxwell GTX 960 - that's an EVGA GTX 960 which is what I have. Fry's Electronics has it for $169.99 which is $20 cheaper then I paid.
the cyberpowerpc.com computer is real close to my gaming computer and it plays Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tombraider (ROTT was patched for DX12).
Updating video drivers is just part of being a gamer.
@roberta591 So how do I update the drivers and edit the video files?
- roberta59110 years agoHero (Retired)
Here is a how to edit the 2 .sgr files about the video card - new graphics cards This works as I recently used it.
@roberta591 How do I know information about my video chip?

@maryb72 I'm sorry we are in the middle of a big storm. You have a AMD Radeon HD 7480D Go to AMD Radeon drivers and download and install the Catalyt Software Suite.
